Betty Lou Bonar Grable

Mrs. Betty Lou Grable of Creighton, Missouri was born August 3, 1945 in Harrisonville, Missouri the daughter of Everett Clark and Mary Lee (Sites) Bonar. She departed this life on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at Kansas City Hospice House, Kansas City, Missouri at the age of 65 years, 4 months and 19 days.
On July 1, 1988, Betty was united in marriage to Buck Grable in Harrisonville, Missouri.
Betty was employed as a secretary for Patrons and Farmers Insurance, Harrisonville, Missouri and earlier was a secretary for Urich Elementary School, Urich, Missouri. Betty enjoyed her family, shopping, going to Thrift Stores and garage sales. She had lived in Creighton and Harrisonville before moving back to Creighton in 2008.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Mary Lee and her first husband, Grady Boly on July 11, 1972.
Betty is survived by her husband, Buck Grable of the home; two sons, Grady Boly and wife, Brenda, Richard Boly and companion, Molly all of Creighton, Missouri; a daughter, Kimberly Lukenbill and husband, Mike, Harrisonville, Missouri; a step-son, Ron Grable, Columbia, Missouri; a step-daughter, Paula Dye, Sumner, Missouri; three grandchildren, Robert, Dakota and Hayley; seven step-grandchildren, Tanisha, Bradley, Lindsey, Tyler, Mandy, Kayla and Mary; four step-great-grandchildren; a brother, David Bonar, a sister, Gladys Poisal both of Creighton, Missouri; other relatives and many friends.
A Celebration of Life Visitation was held Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Garden City, Missouri. Cremation with inurnment in the Byler Cemetery near Creighton, Missouri.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest that memorial contributions may be made to the Kansas City Hospice House.
