Mrs. Beverly Ann Reeves, of Harrisonville, Missouri, was born August 9, 1940 in Kansas City, Missouri the daughter of Buford and Mary (Ponak) Beshore. She went home to be with Jesus on Monday, April 11, 2011 surrounded by her family at her home at the age of 70 years, 8 months and 2 days.
On January 4, 1959, Beverly was united in marriage to Kermit Eugene Reeves at the Archie Christian Church in Archie, Missouri.
Beverly was a homemaker and a farmer’s wife. She helped Kermit however she could around the dairy farm. Beverly was also a great mom and grandma and was very active in the boys’ life by attending their activities and many events of her grandchildren whenever she could. She was a 1958 graduate of the Archie High School. Beverly loved to plant trees, grow flowers, and feed and watch all the birds around her house. She loved to play games, whether it was ping - pong, a board game or a card game; she was “game” to play. She took pleasure in playing a practical joke on someone and always had a good time with people. Beverly enjoyed entertaining people and looked forward to having friends and family over for dinner. One of her greatest joys was going to the lake with family and friends and to go swimming and ride her Jet Ski. The one thing that was most important to Beverly was her faith in Jesus Christ. It was her faith that sustained her since she was saved at the age of 29 and especially since July of 2009 when her health started to decline and she didn’t know why. Beverly will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Beverly is survived by her husband of 52 years, Kermit Reeves of the home; two sons, Clint Reeves, Peculiar, Missouri, Clifford Reeves and wife Donna, Bartonville, Texas; four grandchildren, Kyle, Grant, Kassidy and Caden; two nieces and a nephew and several great-nieces and great-nephews; other relatives and many friends.
