Billy D. Wise

Billy Dee Wise of Archie, Missouri was born March 17, 1932 in Archie the son of John B. and Elsie L. (Burns) Wise. He departed this life on Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at his home near Archie at the age of 76 years, 8 months and 8 days.
Billy was employed as an inspector for General Motors Leeds Plant in Kansas City, Missouri for 30 years until his retirement on May 1, 1989. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of UAW Local 93, Kansas City. Billy was a lifelong area resident. He enjoyed his family, the outdoors, hunting, lifting weights and motorcycle riding. He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by a son, Mark Wise; three daughters, Debra Hyatt and husband, Robert, Gunn City, Missouri, Dee Mann and husband, Eddie, Kingsville, Missouri, Brenda Nyrako, New Orleans, Louisiana; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a brother, Donald Wise, Garden City, Missouri; a step-sister, Yvonne Reitz, Garden City, Missouri; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Services were held Saturday, November 29, 2008 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Garden City, Missouri with burial at the Dayton Cemetery near Garden City, Missouri.
