Billy Ray Turner of Creighton, MO went to be with the Lord on, December 12th, 2024, at St Luke's Hospital on the Plaza. Billy was surrounded by the love of his four children and daughter in-law.

Bill passed from a short bout of cancer. He was active and unaware of his diagnosis, until a backache took him to the hospital the day before Thanksgiving.

Bill was born on July 28th, 1947, to Tom and Lucille Turner. Billy has three sisters, Kay Elliott, Linda Cornell, and Becky Thornton. He grew up in Cassville, MO and graduated from Cassville High School in 1965.

Preceding him are his parents, Tom and Lucille Turner, two nephews, Jim and Shawn Elliott, his wife Carol Lee Turner of 32 years.

Bill is survived by his four children: Lynie and James Vinyard of Tipton, MO; Brian and Cari Turner of Cassville, MO; Kyle and Kayla Turner of Lampe, MO; Travis and Chandra Turner of Creighton, MO.

He has thirteen grandchildren, Tiffany, Billy, Miranda, Sarah, Donny, Terry (Sydney), Luke, Jax, Hayden, Kade, Kole, Kooper, and Karolyn. Billy has eight great grandchildren, Ryder, Emily, Warren, Alex, Julien, Havana, Wyatt, and Mayzie.

Bill enjoyed time with Carol on their small farm in Creighton Missouri. He loved being with family, watching westerns and football, remodeling, and keeping busy since his retirement. Bill was a career printer and head pressman for 50 years. He was the top of his trade and was highly sought out all over the Kansas City region.

Visitation will be held 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 19, 2024 at Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri.

Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 19, 2024 at Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri. Cremation with Inurnment at Byler Cemetery, Creighton, Missouri at a later date.

 In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Byler Cemetery Association and send in care to Dickey Funeral Home, P.O. Box 432, Harrisonville, Missouri 64701.
