Bobby 'Bob' D. Rork

Bobby "Bob" Don Rork, of Harrisonville, Missouri, was bonr May 4, 1939 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma the son of Daniel and Opel Clara (Ezzell) Rork. He departed this life on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at Crown Care Center at the age of 78 years, 3 months and 12 days.
On July 10, 1994, Bob was united in marriage to Mattie Pearl Terrell in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Bob was employed as a truck driver and when he retired from the trucking industry he had a career total of over 8 million miles on the road, which he was very proud of. He had a life-long love for classic cars and baseball. Bob was an avid fisherman and hunter.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Dan Rork and a sister, Pat Strickland.
Bob is survived by his wife, Mattie P. Rork of the home; their little Dog, Ralph; his loving daughter, Keisha Darnell and husband David; a grandson, Austin all of Mustang, Oklahoma; Mattie's two children, Dr. Lonny McKinzie and wife Rhonda, Tyler, Texas and Terri Brown, Harrisonville, Missouri; 5 step-grandchildren and their spouses and 7 great-step-grandchildren; Bob was a loving grandpa to all of his step-grand and great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the staff at Crown Care Center for their care and kindness and Serenity Hospice for their care.
Cremation. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
Final arrangements were under the direction of the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri.
