Charles B. Wade

Charles Benton Wade of Grandview, Missouri formerly of Creighton, Missouri was born September 19, 1964 in Clinton, Missouri the son of George Washington Sr. and Dona Jo (Pullen) Wade. He departed this life on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at Research Medical Center, Kansas City, Missouri at the age of 50 years, 2 months and 1 day.
On November 18, 1994 Charles was united in marriage to Patricia Marlow Comstock in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Charles was a Retired Chief Petty Officer for the United States Navy with 22 years of dedicated service to our country. He was currently employed for Denny's in Peculiar, Missouri as the restaurants general manager. . Charles enjoyed fishing, the outdoors, cooking and his garden. He was a 1982 graduate of Sherwood High School near Creighton. Charles had lived in Creighton, Garden City and Grain Valley, Missouri before moving to Grandview.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Patty Wade, a daughter, Carlie Wade both of the home; two brothers, George W. Wade Jr. (Tina), Robert L. Wade (Rosemary) all of Creighton, Missouri; a sister, Mary L. Green (Jerry) Clinton, Missouri; nieces; nephews; other relatives and a host of friends.
Celebration of Life Services were held Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Garden City, Missouri. Cremation. Burial will be in the Parker Cemetery near Creighton, Missouri at a later date.
