Charles Jack Mayfield

Charles Jack Mayfield of Harrisonville, Missouri was born May 3, 1947 in Bridgeport, Illinois the son of Earnest Raymond and Elnora Jeanette (Bridegroom) Mayfield. He departed this life on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at Research Medical Center, Kansas City, Missouri at the age of 75 years, 6 months and 5 days.

Charles was employed as a repairman for the House of Lloyd, Grandview, Missouri and later held various jobs.  He was an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War.  Charles enjoyed drawing and attending the Harrisonville Church of the Nazarene with his church family.  He had lived in Adrian, Missouri before moving to Harrisonville, Missouri.

Besides his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his two brothers, William and Darrell.

Charles is survived by two brothers, Daniel Mayfield (Christine), Lake Isabella, California, James Mayfield (Lori), Burlington, North Dakota; four sisters, Earnestine Osborn (James) Twin Falls, Idaho, Carolyn Holloway (Paul), Adrian, Missouri, Nelda Huffman (BJ), Harrisonville, Missouri, Bonita Ledzius, (Don), Bloomington, Indiana; nieces, nephews; other relatives and a host of friends. 

A Celebration of Life service will be held Sunday, November 20, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. at the Harrisonville Church of the Nazarene, Harrisonville, Missouri.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri.
