Charlotte Naomi Smith

Charlotte N. Smith, 84 peacefully joined her Lord on April 10, 2012. She was born in Dec. 1927 in Blockton, IA.
Charlotte married her beloved Babe in 1945 and they moved to Lee’s Summit, MO. in 1953.
She retired from Boatmen’s Bank after 30 years, then worked at Nu Look Car Wash for 3 years, then joined Truman Medical Center Lakewood until Nov. 2011. Charlotte was a member of the Living Hope Church in Lee’s Summit.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Thurman (Babe).
Charlotte is is survived by two daughters Pamela (Jay) Ring of Lee’s Summit, MO., Claudia (Bill) Montgomery of Lawrence KS., her son Christopher Smith of Lee’s Summit, MO, brother and sisters John (Danna) Shoemaker Cotopaxi, CO., Anita Miller Lee’s Summit, MO., Asa (Ruth) Steen Ocala FL. Sisters, Karen (Ray) Weeda of Lee’s Summit MO., 7 grand children and 17 great grandchildren.
Her family and friends will miss her sense of humor, her generosity and her unconditional love.
Cremation. A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday April 18 at 12:30 p.m. at the Living Hope Church, 306 SE Wilson, Lee’s Summit, MO.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to St. Luke's Hospice, www.stlukes-hospice.org.
