Chloey Marie Schorr, 18, of Pleasant Hill, MO, departed this life, Wednesday, February 17, 2021, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Chloey was born August 19, 2002 in Kansas City, Missouri, and adopted by her parents, Michael and Elizabeth (Wheeler) Schorr, on February 4, 2011.
Chloey was a 2021 Pleasant Hill High School graduate where she worked hard to graduate at semester early and looked forward to walking with her class in the spring. She was the starting goalie for the junior varsity soccer team at her high school and had been part of the F.F.A. She also enjoyed other outdoor activities including horseback riding, fishing, and playing with her dog, Lady. She was currently employed at Walmart and enjoyed working alongside her friends.
Chloey had a true servant’s heart, and would help anyone in their time of need. She volunteered with her church family and was active in community outreach throughout the metro area. Her youth group, at Grace Baptist Church, brought her many friends and many opportunities to share her giving heart. Chloey trusted in Jesus Christ for salvation and is now in Heaven with her savior for eternity.
Chloey was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Jill Wheeler, and her maternal great grandmother, Lillian Wallar.
She is survived by her parents, Michael and Elizabeth; her siblings, Madison Schorr (and Dominic Orlando), Sky (and Jonathan) Johnson, Lucas Schorr, Zachary (and Brooke) Schorr, Michael Schorr, Bailey McDowell, Luke Rogers, and Logan Rogers; her niece, Baylor Orlando; paternal grandparents, Dan and Deborah Schorr and Esther McDowell; maternal grandparents, Stuart and Sandie Wheeler; maternal great grandmother, Louise Degerald; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends also live forever touched by Chloey.
