Chris Thomas

Christopher Lee Chris Thomas of Garden City, Missouri was born October 7, 1957 in Kansas City, Missouri to Robert Leroy and Edith Marie (French) Thomas. He departed this life on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at Research Medical Center, Kansas City, Missouri at the age of 56 years, 5 months and 4 days.

Chris was employed as a machine operator for Garden City Plastics, Garden City, Missouri. Earlier he was employed for several years at Masoners United Super in Garden City. He enjoyed collecting antiques, ceramics, being outdoors and walking around his property. Chris was a lifelong area resident and was a 1977 graduate of Sherwood High School.

Chris was preceded in death by his father, Robert on April 13, 2007.
Chris is survived by his mother, Edith M. Thomas; four brothers, Michael Thomas, Mark Thomas, John Thomas all of Garden City, Neil Thomas, Lees Summit, Missouri; his sister, Wendy Flanigan, Belton, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and a host of friends.
A graveside service was held Saturday, March 15, 2014 at Garden City Cemetery, Garden City, Missouri.
Final arrangements entrusted to Dickey Funeral Home, Garden City, Missouri.
