Clifford Dale Santanen of Clinton, Missouri was born September 16, 1961 in Bismarck, North Dakota the son of Darmo and Janice (Beseler) Santanen. He departed this life on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at St. Joseph Medical Center, Kansas City, Missouri at the age of 56 years and 5 days.
On May 11, 2015, Clifford was united in marriage to Cheryl Stapleton in Creighton, Missouri.
Clifford was a Journeyman Lineman and a member of the IBEW Local #53, Kansas City, Missouri until his retirement in 2015. Clifford loved being outdoors especially hunting and fishing.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Mahlon Santanen.
Clifford is survived by his wife, Cheryl Santanen of the home; a son, Joshua Santanen and wife Rachel, Ray, North Dakota; a daughter, Heather Santanen, Fargo, North Dakota; two step-sons, Nathan Bodenheimer of Clinton, Missouri, Missouri,and Daniel Star of Independence, Missouri; a step-daughter, Crystal Leuty of Brandenton, Florida; two grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Levi; a brother, Durrant Santanen, Hazelton, North Dakota; other relatives and many friends.
Visitation was held Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at the First Baptist Church, Creighton, Missouri with the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Burial is in the Grant Cemetery near Creighton, Missouri.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Dickey Funeral Home, Garden City, Missouri.
