Clint Thomas Cumpton

Clint Thomas Cumpton of Urich, Missouri was born August 6, 1965 in Clinton, Missouri the son of Thomas Preston Cumpton and Karen Renee (Agans) Cumpton Hagerman. He departed this life on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at the University of Kansas Medical Center, Kansas City, Kansas surrounded by love and family at the age of 48 years, 11 months and 3 days.
On August 2, 1985 Clint was united in marriage to Tracy June Davis in Rockwall, Texas.
Clint was employed in wild life management. He attended Sherwood High School, Creighton, Missouri and was a lifelong area resident. Clint enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting, his garden and cooking.
He was preceded in death by his father, Tom on February 19, 1988.
Clint is survived by his wife, Tracy Cumpton of the home; a son, Preston Lee Cumpton and wife, Taylor, Pleasant Hill, Missouri, a daughter, Casey Sanders and husband, Eric, Creighton, Missouri; a granddaughter June with a due date in October; his mother, Karen Hagerman, Holts, Summit, Missouri; four brothers, Clay Cumpton, Urich, Missouri, Cole Cumpton, Creighton, Missouri, Curtis Cumpton, Urich, Missouri, Cliff Cumpton, Garden City, Missouri; two step-brothers, Brian Hagerman, Ocean Side, California, Brent Hagerman, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, two step-sisters, Angie Taylor, Mission, Kansas, Amy Hagerman, Benton, Arkansas; other relatives and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, July 12, 2014 at the Urich Baptist Church, Urich, Missouri with inurnment in the Dayton Cemetery near Garden City, Missouri.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Dickey Funeral Home, Garden City, Missouri.
