Dale F. Coonrod, of Harrisonville, Missouri was born in Ross County, Ohio the son of Rufus E. and Vasie A. (Tackett) Coonrod. He departed this life on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at Vitas Hospice Care, Kansas City, Missouri at the age of 74 years, 3 months and 2 days.
On November 11, 1967, Dale was united in marriage to Wanda June Ison in Lee’s Summit, Missouri.
Dale was owner and operator of Belray Concrete until his retirement in 2006. He was a charter member of the South Haven Baptist Church, Belton, Missouri.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Velma Beck.
Dale is survived by his wife, Wanda Coonrod of the home; a daughter, Stacy Plank, Elkland, Missouri; 3 grandchildren, Steve, Brandi and Levi; 3 other children and 6 grandchildren from a previous marriage; a sister, Kathy Goldsberry, Washington Court House, Ohio; 3 brothers, Carl Coonrod, Frankfort, Ohio, Ralph Coonrod and wife Betty, Belton, Missouri, Glenn Coonrod and wife Edna, Greenwood, Missouri; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Cremation. Celebration of Life Service was held Saturday, November 9, 2013 at the South Haven Baptist Church, Belton, MO
Services are under the direction of Cass County Cremation Services, Harrisonville, Missouri.
