Daniel Ray Pendleton, of Peculiar, Missouri, was born November 3, 1958 in Kansas City, Missouri the son of Charles Edward and Evelyn A. (Greenwell) Pendleton. He departed this life Thursday, June 21, 2012 at the Kansas City Hospice House, Kansas City, Missouri at the age of 53 years, 7 months and 18 days.
On June 18, 1983, Daniel was united in marriage to Tammy Ann Pruitt in Garden City, Missouri.
Daniel was employed as a manager for Calmar in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. He was also employed as a manager in the Automotive Department at Walmart in Harrisonville, Missouri. His greatest love was being a stock and row crop farmer on the Don Sieker Farm. Daniel enjoyed fishing, drawing and painting, collecting and rebuilding old cars. His pride and joy were his old mustangs that he restored.
He is survived by his wife, Tammy Pendleton of the home; a son, Daniel Shawn Pendleton; two daughters, Raechel Lynn Pendleton and Mindy Lynn Pendleton all of Peculiar, Missouri; a grandson, Shawn Micheal Pendleton; his parents, Charles and Evelyn Pendleton, Garden City, Missouri; three brothers, Jimmy Dale Pendleton, San Diego, California, Larry Alan Pendleton, Chesapeake, Virginia, Gerald Scott Pendleton, Archie, Missouri; a sister, Karen Ann Potocnik, Lee’s Summit, Missouri; other relatives and many friends.
A Celebraton Of Life Service was held Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at Dickey Funeral Home, Garden City, Missouri. Cremation. Family will received friends from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at Dickey Funeral Home, Garden City, Missouri.
Family suggests contributions may be made to the Kansas City Hospice House, Kansas City, Missouri or to the Mayo Clinic in care of the funeral home.
