Deborah Lynn (Sulser) Jackson, of Urich, Missouri was born February 25, 1953 in Marshall, Missouri the daughter of Willard Dean and Elsie Lee (Green) Hodges. She departed this life on Monday, September 17, 2012 at her home near Urich at the age of 59 years, 6 months and 22 days.
Deborah was employed as a dispatcher for the John Knox Village, Lee’s Summit, Missouri until her retirement in November of 2009. She had attended Harrisonville, Missouri High School and loved to read, spend time with her grandchildren and her two dogs, Sophie and Mandy. Deborah had lived in Garden City and Lee’s Summit, Missouri before moving to Urich in 2009.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Elsie Hodges and a sister, Lucille Williams.
Deborah is survived by three sons, Joshua D. Sulser, Independence, Missouri, Matthew J. Sulser and Gabriel M. Sulser both of Garden City, Missouri; a daughter, Vanessa Dalton and husband, Jason, Urich, Missouri; 3 grandchildren; her father, Willard D. Hodges, Garden City, Missouri; other relatives and many friends.
Cremation. A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held from 7:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 20, 2012 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Garden City, Missouri.
Family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Hope Haven of Harrisonville, Missouri.
