Doc Burton

Charles Wayne ""Doc"" Burton, of Deepwater, Missouri, was born May 19, 1931 in East Lynne, Missouri, the son of Charles Gilbert and Viola Mae (Kagarice) Burton. He departed this life Wednesday, December 26, 2007, near Clinton at the age of 76 years, 7 months and 7 days.
On October 6, 1964, Doc was united in marriage to Mary Louise Wade in Harrisonville, Missouri.
Doc was employed as an assembler for General Motors Leed's Plant, Kansas City, Missouri until his retirement in 1988. He was a member of the UAW Local #93 in Kansas City, the Deepwater Boat Ramp Committee, the Fairview Township Housing Development both of Deepwater, Missouri and was of the Baptist faith. Doc was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife Mary L. Burton of the home; two brothers, Harold G. Burton and wife Opal, Deepwater, Missouri and Jimmie L. Burton and wife Carol, Harrisonville, Missouri; other relatives and many friends.
Graveside service & interment was held Sunday, December 30, 2007 at the Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville, Missouri.
