Dona Jo Wade

Mrs. Dona Jo Wade of Creighton, Missouri was born February 18, 1929 in Garden City, Missouri the daughter of Edgar Alva and Lola May (Tyler) Pullen. She departed this life Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital, Clinton, Missouri at the age of 77 years, 11 months and 12 days.
On, November 26, 1951 Dona Jo was united in marriage to George Washington Wade in Benton County, Arkansas.
Dona Jo was a homemaker. She enjoyed her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, the outdoors, her garden and was a wonderful cook. Dona Jo was a lifelong resident of Creighton.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George on December 9, 1989, a grandson, Michael Patrick Wade; three brothers, Robert, Richard and Patty.
She is survived by three sons, George W. Wade Jr. and wife, Tina, Robert L. Wade and wife, Rosemary all of Creighton, Missouri, Charles B. Wade and wife, Patricia, Garden City, Missouri; a daughter, Mary L. Green and husband, Jerry, Clinton, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Melissa, Crystal, Benjamin, Stephanie, Jacqueline, Cody, Carlie and April; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Tom Pullen, Creighton, Missouri; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Friday, February 2, 2007 at Christ Christian Church near Urich, Missouri with interment in the Parker Cemetery near Creighton, Missouri.
