Mrs. Donna Sue Chiles of Cleveland, Missouri was born May 30, 1948 in Kansas City, Missouri the daughter of Glenn Everett and Lela Mae (Woods) Baker. She departed this life Thursday, September 7, 2006 at her home near Cleveland at the age of 58 Years, 3 months and 7 days.
On October 8, 1983, Donna was united in marriage to James Loren Chiles in Kansas City, Missouri.
Donna was a homemaker. Earlier, she was employed at Skaggs Drug Store and Furniture Fixtures both in Kansas City and K-Mart in North Hollywood, California. She enjoyed her plants, crocheting, the outdoors and going to Pomme De Terre Lake. Donna had lived in Kansas City before moving to Cleveland in 1996.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Jim Chiles of the home; three sons, Donnie Blankenship, Des Moines, Iowa, Jon Blankenship and wife, Patricia, Gardner, Kansas, Christopher Blankenship, Cleveland, Missouri; a daughter, Jamie Chiles, Cleveland, Missouri; two step-daughters, Kim Bruns and husband, Derrick, Smithville, Missouri, Julie Chownig and husband, Michael, Richmond, Missouri; nine grandchildren, Jacob, Cody, Matthew, Brittany, Seth, Emily, Caleb, Lyndsey and Sabrina; a brother, Steve Banks, Cleveland, Missouri; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, September 9, 2006 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri with burial in the Garden City Cemetery, Garden City, Missouri.
Family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
