Donna Ruth (Raines) Gustin, 60, of Centerview, Missouri, was born November 30, 1953, in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of Leonard Russell and Nancy Catherine (Gordon) Coy. She departed this life at 12:25 a.m. Monday, January 27, 2014, at her home surrounded with love and family.
Donna spent the early years of her life in the Independence area. She was a 1972 Truman high school graduate. On November 4,
1993, she was united in marriage to William Mark Gustin in Branson, Missouri.
Donna was a partner and the vice president and secretary of Gustin and Sons Foundation and Flatwork, Incorporated, Centerview, Missouri.
She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother; family and the Lord were the most important things in her life. She had a passion for the Lord and raised her family with that in mind. She was a member of the Holden First Baptist Church.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved son Mathew Curtis Raines on March 28, 2007.
She is survived by her husband Mark and grandson Mastin Raines both of the home in Centerview; a nephew, Jake Richcreek; four brothers Cliff (and Jackie) Coy of Foley, Alabama, Russell Coy of Independence, Missouri, Thomas (and Dorlisa) Coy of Holden, Missouri, and Jim (and Kathy) Coy of Blue Springs; three sisters, Nancy Graybar of Belton, Missouri, Debbie (and Ed) Campbell and Liz (and Ed) Clary all of Independence, Missouri; several other nieces and nephews; other relatives; and many friends.
Visitation will be held 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, February 2, 2014, at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 3, 2014, at the funeral home. Pastor Ricky J. Deno, Crossroads Chaplain will officiate. Interment will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Casket bearers are Cliff Coy, Jim Coy, Russell Coy, Thomas Coy, Curtis Raines, and Sam Todd.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Mastin Raines Education Fund and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
