Dorothy Mae Grah, of Garden City, Missouri was born September 23, 1930 in Hoxie, Kansas the daughter of Elva and Pauline (Brusch) Taylor. She departed this life on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at the Cass Regional Medical Center, Harrisonville, Missouri at the age of 90 years, 6 months and 11 days.
On February 17, 1951, Dorothy was united in marriage to Francis Xavier Grah in Harrisonville, Missouri.
Dorothy was a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, gardening and had babysat many kids throughout her life. Dorothy drove the first bus for Peach Grove School near Garden City, Missouri.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Francis on December 15, 2001; a brother, Dale Taylor; 3 sisters, Margie Moody, Lois Stuart and Darlene Taylor.
Dorothy is survived by two sons, Tommy Grah and wife Patricia and Larry Wayne Grah all of Garden City, Missouri; two daughters, Linda Pauline McLanahan and husband Charles, Archie, Missouri, Angie Grubb and husband Wayne, Garden City, Missouri; 8 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; 4 brothers, Darrel Taylor, Kingsville, Missouri, Dwayne Taylor, Ray Taylor and Dan Taylor all of Colorado Springs, Colorado; 2 sisters, Hazel Doxey and Sharon Gilcrist both Colorado Springs, Colorado; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 9, 2021 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri with burial in the Dayton Cemetery near Garden City, Missouri.
Family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 9, 2021 at the funeral home.
