Dottie Jean Looney of Harrisonville, Missouri was born June 28, 1941 in Kansas City, Missouri the daughter of Marion S. Price Jr. and Mary Dove. She departed this life on Friday, September 30, 2016 at the St. Luke's Hospital, Kansas City at the age of 75 years, 3 months and 2 days.
On July 23, 2011, Dottie was united in marriage to Darold Oliver Looney in Harrisonville, Missouri.
Dottie was employed as a nurse's assistant at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Cass Medical Center, Independence Regional and Two Rivers Hospital.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Victor Tinsley Sr. on May 3, 1993.
She is survived by her husband, Darold O. Looney of the home; 4 sons, Jerry Trader and wife Shirley, Raytown, Missouri, Edward Trader and wife Melody, Riverside, Missouri, Victor Tinsley Jr. and wife Crystal, Harrisonville, Missouri, Randy Tinsley and wife Sue, Sulpher Rock, Arkansas; two daughters, Sherry Brewer and husband Robert, Harrisonville, Missouri, Stephanie Tinsley, Kansas City, Missouri; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be 7:00 p.m., Friday, October 7, 2016 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri. Cremation to follow the service.
Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Friday, October 7, 2016 at the funeral home.
