Duane Pulliam of Urich, Missouri was born August 12, 1968 in Kansas City, Missouri the son of Gary Allen Pulliam and Jane Louise (Hart) Pulliam. He departed this life on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at his home near Urich at the age of 48 years, 6 months and 27 days.
Duane was an auto mechanic and his family called him the jack of all trades. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Creighton, Missouri and a 1986 graduate of Harrisonville High School. Duane was an avid reader, enjoyed music, writing stories and poetry. He had lived in Harrisonville before moving to Urich.
Duane is survived by his daughter, Jessie Pulliam of the home; two sons, Derek Pulliam, Independence, Missouri, Devan Pulliam, Pleasant Hill, Missouri; his father, Gary A. Pulliam of the home; his mother, Jane L. Pulliam, Harrisonville, Missouri; two brothers, Gene Pulliam, St. Louis, Missouri, Ed Pulliam, Powersite, Missouri; other relatives and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held Thursday, March 16, 2017 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Garden City, Missouri with burial in the Garden City Cemetery.
Family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church Memorial Fund, Creighton, Missouri.
