Mrs. Ella Lou Olinger, Odessa, Missouri, was born September 24, 1933 the daughter of Wesley ?Dick? and Bessie Ella (Bridges) Fine. She departed this life Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at her home in Odessa at the age of 76 years, 2 months and 8 days.
On July 12, 1952, Ella was united in marriage to Nelson Wayne Olinger in Archer City, Texas.
Ella was a homemaker. She was a member of the Dayton Community Church near Garden City, Missouri. Ella enjoyed playing cards and other types of games. She had lived in Latour, Dayton and Austin, Missouri before traveling around with her husband in a RV for 16 years, and then she lived at John Knox Village, Lee?s Summit, Missouri and then to Odessa in October of 2008.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Wilburn and Orland Fine and a sister, Wanetta Tracy.
She is survived by her husband, Rev. Nelson Olinger of the home; five sons, David W. Olinger and wife Rosa, Odessa, Missouri; Micheal J. Olinger, Half Moon Bay, California, Donald G. Olinger and wife Hye Suk, Blue Springs, Missouri, Ronald D. Olinger, Odessa, Missouri and William W. Olinger and wife Debbie, Grain Valley, Missouri; a daughter, Connie L. Baker and husband Ricky, Knob Noster, Missouri; 13 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
Graveside Services were held Sunday, December 6, 2009 at the Dayton Cemetery near Garden City, Missouri.
