Etta F. Dyche

Etta Frances Dyche, 92, of Harrisonville, MO died peacefully on Sunday, October 13, 2024.

Etta was Born on May 9, 1932, in Parkville, Missouri. She was the beloved daughter of William and Georgia Martin. She spent her early years attending school in Parkville and helping her family on their farm, a tradition which she cherished.

She was united in marriage to Robert J. Dyche on November 4, 1950 and they began their family soon thereafter.

Etta was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; her parents; her brothers: Sam and William Jr; her sister, Helen; her sons: Robert E. And Donnie; and her son-in-law, Dave. She is survived by her children and their families:

• - The late Robert E.'s children: Robert J. (Cindy), Christopher (Kathy), Jenny (Aaron) and Carolyn (Andrew)
• - Lynda and her children: Phillip, Roger (Shawna), Nick (Ashley), Mike and Susie (Shawn)
• - Vicky (Dave - dec.) and their children: Kari, Tony (Tonya) and Joshua
• - Kevin and his son, Kevin Jr.
• - Cathy (Mike) and their sons: Brian, Jason (Amy) and Steven (Kayli)
• - Jane (John) and their children: Krystal (Damon) and Kaleb

She was also blessed with many great-grandchildren. She was a cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Etta was a woman of many interests and passions. She was a big Kansas City Chiefs fan and could often be found cheering on her team. She also loved spending her free time working on puzzles, hunting for antiques or playing her favorite slot machine at the casino, Dancing Drums. She found joy in life's simple pleasures and strived to enjoy every moment.

Her love, kindness and generosity will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.

A visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at Dickey Funeral Home in Harrisonville, Missouri with a celebration of life service to follow.
