Gary Smith

Gary Donald Smith of Sedan, Kansas was born on April 25, 1946 in Clinton, Missouri the son of Donald Briviande and Betty Jean (Wheeler) Smith. He departed this life on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at his home surrounded by love and family at the age of 66 years, 11 months and 28 days.
On November 4, 1988 Gary was united in marriage to Margaret Doll Davidson in Butler, Missouri.

Gary joined the United States Marine Corp right out of high school and served in Viet Nam. After three years in the Marine Corp, he joined the United States Air Force Reserve until his retirement. He was also a John Deere technician, working in the Harrisonville, Mo area for many years.

Besides his parents, Gary was preceded in death by a brother, Larry.

Gary is survived by his wife Margaret of Sedan, Kansas; a daughter, Cora Trinkle and companion Cathy of Butler, Missouri; two granddaughters, Shelby and Ashley; a sister, LaDonna Diller, St Charles, Missouri; his faithful horse, Sonny other relatives and a host of friends.

A graveside service was held Saturday, April 27, 2013 in the Englewood Cemetery, Clinton, Missouri.
