Glen Edgar Tuey

Glen Edgar Tuey of Harrisonville, Missouri was born October 31, 1925 in St. Joseph, Missouri the son of Edgar Soles and Hattie Myrtle (Kroger) Tuey. He departed this life on Friday, February 6, 2009 at his home in Harrisonville at the age of 83 years, 3 months and 5 days.
On September 24, 1954, Glen was united in marriage to Kathaleen Clynthia Snook in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
Glen was employed as a welder for Libby Welding Company, Kansas City, Missouri until his retirement in 1986. He was a Marine veteran of World War II and a member of the United Auto Workers. Glen had lived in Kansas City, Missouri until moving to Harrisonville in 2008. He enjoyed nature, fishing and the outdoors.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Richard Edward Tuey; two brothers, Charles and Austin; two sisters, Bernice and Gladys.
He is survived by his wife, Kathaleen C. Tuey of the home; other relatives and many friends.
Graveside servcies were held Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at the Strasburg Missouri Cemetery.
