Greg A. Nash

Gregory Alan Nash of Harrisonville, Missouri was born October 20,1959 in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Jerry Dean and Hannah Kathleen (Goodnight) Nash. He departed this life on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at Crown Rehab and Healthcare Center, Harrisonville, Missouri surrounded by love and family at the age of 64 years and 4 days.

 On July 11, 1998, Greg was united in marriage to Marcia Ann Standley at the First Baptist Church in Garden City, Missouri.

 Greg was employed as a proud Union Drywall Professional. The most important things to Greg were his faith, family, and fishing, not always in that order. Greg would be crappie fishing any time he got the chance. He enjoyed bank fishing, boat fishing and really any kind of fishing. He was a wonderful husband, father, brother, and son. Greg had a great sense of humor and loved telling fish stories. He enjoyed vacationing with his wife where you could find him walking up and down the beach or in the water snorkeling.

Greg was preceded in death by his mother, Kathleen; his brother, James Nash; 2 nieces, Savannah Nash, and Jubilee Gibler; a nephew, Jack Charles Nash.

Greg is survived by his wife, Marcia Nash of the home; a daughter, Stephanie Finn (Chris) and two grandchildren Emmett and Everly, Farmington, MN; 2 step-daughters, Danielle Bolton (Eric), Moundridge, KS, Jessie Wun (Winston), Lee’s Summit, Missouri; his father, Jerry Nash, Harrisonville, MO; 2 brothers, Tim Nash (Bonnie), Peculiar, MO, Paul Nash (Stephanie) Nash, Harrisonville, MO; 3 sisters, Pam Osborn (Steve), Becky Anderson (Jr.) all of Harrisonville, MO, Carla Norman (Bruce), Garden City, MO; many nieces and nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 30, 2023 at Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri with interment in the Clearfork Cemetery, Garden City, Missouri. Family will receive friends from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m., Monday at the chapel.
