Howard David Cole

Howard David Cole, of Garden City, Missouri, was born December 4, 1951 in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of William Homer and Martha Ellen (Nichols) Cole. He departed this life Friday, November 28, 2008, at the Cass Regional Medical Center, Harrisonville at the age of 56 years 11 months and 24 days.
On July 2, 1973, David was united in marriage to Jacqueline Ann Beal in Unionville, Missouri.
David was employed as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic for Hayes Drilling, Olathe, Kansas. He was a member of Teamsters Union Local #541, the Belton Masonic Lodge #450 of the A.F. & A.M., Belton, Missouri and the Cass County Sheriff's Reserve. David was a Navy veteran serving from 1970 until 1972 and then was a Navy Reservist from 1972 until 1976. He was a lifelong Cass County Resident.
David was preceded in death by his father, William Cole and a sister, Lois Adams.
He is survived by his wife, Jackie Cole of the home; two sons, David Michael Cole and wife Melinda and their children, Brittany, Ashley and Austin, William Mark Cole and his children, Bailey and Evan; his mother, Martha Cole and a brother, Bill Cole all of Belton, Missouri; two sisters, Linda Howard, Independence, Missouri, RayeAnn Bonar, Creighton, Missouri; 5 nephews; 6 nieces; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Services were held Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Garden City, Missouri with burial at the Reid cemetery near Harrisonville, Missouri.
