The Christian life is not easy but the most rewarding. God has promised us strength for each day. I certainly feel that my paths have fallen in pleasant places. In these days when so much is heard about child abuse, troubled and broken homes it makes me feel very grateful for my heritage, they were not perfect people but people endeavoring to live according to the Bible. My conclusion in the words of another is that “An ordinary person who discovers that living each day honorably with faith in God and a selfless concern for others can make for a truly wonderful life.” If this ordinary country girl has influenced her family to live that kind of life, she feels well rewarded. –Iona Schrock
