Bob was born in Latour, MO to the late Howard and Helen Famuliner on April 13, 1933. He graduated from Holden High School in 1950 and married Joann Ruth Wooster in 1955. Bob was proud to have served in the Army from 1953-1955 during the Korean conflict. He then went on to work at Consolidated Freightways as a talented diesel mechanic for over 35 years. Bob was a very hard worker and enjoyed building things and was known for being able to fix anything. In addition to his full-time job, he also built several houses and re-built heavy machinery.
Bob and his wife enjoyed many social and civic activities including church events, family and work reunions, and neighborhood bonfires and fish frys. He and Joanne lived on a Missouri Century Farm registered to the Famuliner family for over 100 years. They worked very hard to compile an extensive family genealogy spanning over 8 generations. Robert and Joann also enjoyed travelling extensively throughout the continental United States, Canada, and Alaska.
Bob loved spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joann Famuliner and son, Charles Famuliner. He is survived by daughter, Linda Famuliner of Blue Springs; two sons, Richard Famuliner of Blue Springs and John Famuliner of Liberty; brother, Tom Famuliner of Harrisonville; five grandchildren, Ryan, Dorian, Shannon, and Jake Famuliner and Amber Hammersland; and three great-grandchildren, Ranger Famuliner, and Evan and Alex Hammersland.
