Jeremy Robert Hansen, Jr., 20, of Pleasant Hill, was born, December 16, 1996, in Ft. Riley, Kansas, the son of Jeremy R. and Jennifer L. (Barela) Hansen, Sr. He departed this life Saturday, August 5, 2017, in Stockton, Missouri.
Jeremy had attended the Pleasant Hill High School. He was currently employed as sawmill operator for Universal Forest Products in Harrisonville. He was a member of the Crossroads Church, Harrisonville. He was quiet and reserved, but loved music.
He is survived by his father, Jeremy Hansen, Sr. of Bates City; mother and step-father, Jennifer and Randall Bowen of Pleasant Hill; his brother, Ethan Hansen of Pleasant Hill; paternal grandparents, Herbert and Emelyn Hansen of Bates City; maternal grandparents, Steve and Juanita Horton of Blue Springs; other relatives and friends.
Cremation has been accorded. A memorial service was held Saturday, August 12, 2017, at the Stanley-Dickey Funeral Home, Pleasant Hill, Missouri. Reverend Garrett Widner will officiate.
The family received friends following the service at a luncheon located at the V.F.W. Post #3118 (1701 Country Club Dr., Pleasant Hill, Missouri 64080).
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Joshua House and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
