J.H. 'Homer' Puckett

J.H. "Homer" Puckett died Wednesday, March 12 at the age of 84 at the Crown Care Center in Harrisonville, Missouri.
Mr. Puckett was born on April 9, 1929 in Rison, Arkansas and spent much of his younger life in Arkansas before moving to Missouri where he met his wife of 47 years Mary L. Vaughan. Mr. Puckett spent the last years of his life in Harrisonville, Missouri till his death.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Mary L. Puckett, a daughter Nina R. Wilson, two sisters, Lucille Finn and Inez Greeson, one brother Dale Puckett, two brother-in-laws Mickey Finn and James Vaughan and one sister in-law Rachel Vaughan.
Survived by sons: Jewel L. Puckett, Homer E.Puckett,Aubrey J. Puckett. Three daughters: Elizabeth A. Brown, Martha R. Hascock, Clara Faye Puckett . Step children James R. Kelly(Cheryl), Iva Hibbard, Sallie A. Kelly, and Jacqueline L. Kelly, and many grand- children, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
Cremation. A Celebration of Life Service will be at a later date. The family is requesting no flowers.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri
