John Garold Breeden of Harrisonville, Missouri was born April 20, 1914 in Oronogo, Missouri the son of Elihu and Alma Mae (Malicoat) Breeden. He departed this life Tuesday, October 2, 2007 at Crown Care Center, Harrisonville at the age of 93 years, 5 months and 12 days.
Garold was united in marriage to Lucille Lottie Stephens.
Garold was employed as a carpenter until his retirement. He was a member of Oronogo Baptist Church and Perseverance ATA Lodge. He was a resident of Oronogo until moving to Harrisonville in September of 1993.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille in 1996; three brothers, Harold, Robert and Earl Breeden; a sister, Thelma Peppers Hubbard.
Hs is survived by his daughter, Marilyn Grieb and husband, H.D., Harrisonville, Missouri; three granddaughters, Duana Jennings and husband, Steve, Leawood, Kansas, Dona Grieb, Lee's Summit, Missouri, LeLynne Fordyce and husband, Mike, Joplin, Missouri; three great-granddaughters, Callie Nicole Jennings, Machaela Maree and Meghan MeLynne Fordyce; nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 8, 2007 at the Crown Care Center Chapel, Harrisonville, Missouri.
