Judith Carol Christesen of Harrisonville, Missouri was born October 21, 1946 in Kansas City, Missouri the daughter of Floyd John and Mabel Kate (Helt) Ash. She departed this life on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Cass Regional Medical Center, Harrisonville, Missouri at the age of 68 years, 8 months and 27 days.
On December 5, 1963 Judith was united in marriage to Marvin Christesen in Lee's Summit, Missouri.
Judith owned and operated Sunshine Beauty Shop, Harrisonville until her retirement in 2000. She was a faithful member of The Worship Center, Harrisonville and had lived in Pleasant Hill, Missouri before moving to Harrisonville in 1963. Judith enjoyed the outdoors, riding horses and all kinds of animals.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Billy and Donnie Ash.
Judith is survived by several cousins and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri. Burial is in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Pleasant Hill, Missouri.
The family suggest that memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation.
