Judith Colleen Tempel

Judith Colleen ?Judi? Tempel of Harrisonville, Missouri was born August 31, 1939 in Monett, Missouri the daughter of William Arlow and Lois Ramona (Christy) Rinehart. She departed this life Thursday, April 1, 2010 at Research Medical Center, Kansas City, Missouri at the age of 70 years and 7 months.
On June 28, 1959, Judi was united in marriage to Keith Gary Tempel in Independence, Missouri.
Judi was employed as a secretary for the High Grove Elementary, Grandview, Missouri until her retirement in 1995. She attended the Harrisonville Mennonite Church. Judi enjoyed fishing, spending time with her grandchildren and loved dogs of all kinds, especially her Schnauzers. She and Keith had lived in Grandview, Missouri before moving to their home that she designed near Harrisonville in 1995.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Judi is survived by her husband, Keith G. Tempel of the home; two sons, Kevin Tempel, Independence, Missouri, Vince Tempel and wife Amy, Highlands Ranch, Colorado; three grandchildren, Megan, Alyssa and Garrett Tempel; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, April 3, 2010 at the Harrisonville Mennonite Church, Harrisonville, Missouri with burial at the Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville, Missouri.
Family suggest that memorial contributions may be made to the Harrisonville Christian School, Harrisonville, Missouri.
