Kenneth "Kenny" O. Brattin

Kenneth “Kenny” O. Brattin was born April 12, 1934 in Exeter, Missouri the son of Olen and Gladys (Slagle) Brattin. He departed this life on Friday, October 23, 2020 at Carnegie Village Senior Living Community, Belton at the age of 86 years, 6 months and 11 days.
Kenny was a dry wall finisher for Brattin Dry Wall in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. He loved his dog Abbey, enjoyed fishing, being with his family and going to family reunions and was proud of his full head of hair. Kenny was an avid Kansas City Royals fan. He was a pleasant person but was also known as a jokester and quick witted.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronald and Howard Brattin; two sisters, Vineta Smith and Debbie Phelps.
Kenny is survived by two sons, Steven Brattin and wife Sandy, Lillian, Alabama, Roger Brattin and wife Susan, Raymore, Missouri; two daughters, Kennetha "Kaye" Brattin, Kara Kerby and husband Marc, Pleasant Hill, Missouri; 7 grandchildren; three brothers, Lester Brattin, Greenwood, Missouri, Gary Brattin and Mark Brattin both of Exeter, Missouri; two sisters, Olena Harvey of Arkansas, Christine Parks, Exeter, Missouri; multiple family members he dearly loved and friends.
Cremation. A Celebration of Life Service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 30, 2020 at the Ridgley Baptist Church, 4775 State Hwy 76, Exeter, MO 65647.
Family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Ridgley Baptist Church Memorial Fund.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri.
