Kenneth Lee ?Kenny? Emick of Urich, Missouri was born March 15, 1950 in Clinton, Missouri the son of Kenneth Fern and Edna Lee (O?Bannon) Emick. He departed this life on Tuesday, November 18, 2008 as a result of a tractor accident near Urich at the age of 58 years, 8 months and 3 days. On May 27, 1972, Kenny was united in marriage to Dianna Sue Bush in Urich, Missouri.
Kenny was employed as a mechanic at the KCPL Montrose Power Plant, Montrose, Missouri and also enjoyed being a farmer and stockman. He was a lifelong area resident of Urich and was a 1968 graduate of Sherwood High School, Creighton, Missouri. Kenny was an Army veteran serving in Korea during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed his family the outdoors, working, hunting, fishing and farming.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth on January 6, 2005 and his brother, Mike on December 19, 1973.
He is survived by his wife, Dianna S. Emick of the home; two daughters, Brecklyn Conner and husband, Dale and Mikka Emick; his mother, Edna Lee Emick all of Urich, Missouri; a grandson, Ayden Kenlee Emick; two sisters, Dixie F. Durward and husband, Jim, Clinton, Missouri, Sheryl Helm, Urich, Missouri; his nieces and nephews, Shannon, Keith, Erin and Terry Fox, Kelly and Andrea Durward, Stacey and Glen Stewart, Shawn Graham; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, November 22, 2008 at Dickey Funeral Home, Garden City, Missouri.
Family suggest that memorial contributions may be made to the Urich Re-Union Fund and or to the Show-Me Christian Youth Home.
