Kerry L. Tribble, of Harrisonville, Missouri was born October 25, 1942 in Yakima, Washington the son of Paul and Frances Ann (Huntsinger) Tribble. He departed this life on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at his home at the age of 78 years, 3 months and 29 days.
On May 21, 1987, Kerry was united in marriage to Tammy Ann McCullough in Boulder, Colorado.
Kerry was a manager for Safeway Grocers in Independence, Missouri until his retirement in 1996. He was a Navy veteran. Kerry loved to hunt, fish, drive his Corvette and attend car shows. He was an avid watcher of college and professional football and NASCAR. Kerry enjoyed teasing people and hanging out at Bunger’s Garage but his greatest joy was spending time with his family especially his grandchildren and his dog, Bella.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Kerry is survived by his wife, Tammy A. Tribble of the home; three children, Sherri K. Tribble, Independence, Missouri, Kerry S. Tribble, Harrisonville, Missouri, Jerod M. Tribble and wife Maryann; 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; a brother, Paul ValJean Tribble, Holt, Missouri; a sister, Frances Diane Lacy, Paola, Kansas; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri with a graveside service with Military Honors at 1:30 p.m. at the Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, Kansas.
Family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at the funeral home.
Family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the St. Croix Hospice, Harrisonville, Missouri.
