Kevin W. Garwood

Kevin Wayne Garwood of Kansas City, Missouri was born April 9, 1975 in Kansas City, Missouri the son of Jim Garrett (Father)/ David shearer (Dad) and Mary Virginia (Buckner) Giannico.  He departed this life on Sunday, February 12, 2023 at Ignite Medical Resort, Blue Springs, Missouri surrounded by love and family at the age of 47 years, 9 months and 24 days.

Kevin was self-employed plumber.  He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and hunting. He was a life-long resident of Kansas City, Missouri. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Tommy.

Kevin is survived by two sons, Tim Garwood, Independence, Missouri, Dylan Garwood, Kansas City, Missouri; a daughter, Dalila Dotson, Butler, Missouri; 4 brothers, Sam Garwood, Rich Hill, Missouri, David Giannico, Kansas City, Missouri, Josh Balding, El Dorado Springs, Missouri, Mason Frailey, Lincoln, Missouri; a sister, Lyndsey Garrett, El Dorado Springs, Missouri; other relatives and a host of friends. 

Funeral Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 17, 2023 at Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri with internment at Parker Cemetery, Creighton, Missouri.

Family will receive freinds from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 17, 2023 at the Funeral Home.
