Kristian Suzanne Klaus, age 48, died December 2nd, 2013, after a courageous battle with liver disease at Menorah Hospital.
Kristian was born March 23rd, 1965, the daughter of George Klaus and Sandra (Ritch) Phifer at Richards Gebaur AFB, Grandview, MO. She graduated from Rampart High School in Colorado Springs, CO, and DeVry University as a Telecommunications Network Engineer. She worked for Sprint in Overland Park, KS, for 20 years.
She was preceded in death by her father, George Klaus, and grandparents.
She is survived by her Mother, Sandra Phifer, Step-Father, Tim Phifer of Freeman, MO, Brothers, Patrick Klaus of Freeman, MO, and Brian Klaus of Oregon, Daughter, Courtney Gregg, and Son, Jeff Klaus, both of Freeman, MO.
Kristian loved Florida and at times her work took her there. She took her daughter and niece there for vacation where they went parasailing, walked the beaches, and ate lots of seafood. Kristian was looking forward to welcoming her 1st Granddaughter, Alexis, due in February. Cremation. Memorial Service at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the American Liver Foundation
Cremation with final arrangements entrusted to Cass County Cremation Service, Harrisonville, Missouri.
