Laretta Faye Cantrell of Harrisonville, Missouri was born March 13, 1941 in Kansas City, Missouri the daughter of martin and Faye (McAnally) Keeney. She departed this life on Monday, June 11, 2012 at Golden Years Care Services, Harrisonville, Missouri at the age of 71 tears, 2 months and 28 days.
Laretta was united in marriage to Samuel “Sam” L. Cantrell on February 1, 1964.
Laretta was employed as a teller for Commerce Bank in Harrisonville, Missouri for several years. She had lived in Cleveland, Missouri and was a graduate of Cleveland High School. Laretta had moved to Harrisonville in 1964.
Besides her parents, Laretta was preceded in death by her husband, Sam on August 10, 1987; her two brothers, Wayne and Rex Keeney.
Laretta is survived by her son, Clint Cantrell and wife, Joan, Mindemines, Missouri and granddaughter, Beth; other relatives and a host of friends.
A graveside service was held Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville, Missouri.
