Leah Diane Doll, 58, of Garden City, Missouri passed away at her home on April 16, 2021, with her husband Bryan by her side.
Leah was born on July 19, 1962 at Conley Maternity Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. She was the daughter of Don and Sue Hocking.
She went to school at Raytown South and graduated with her class of 1980 with her GED. She put herself through nursing school and worked serving others up until the time of her illness.
Leah married Bryan Doll on July 8, 2017. They enjoyed life together in many ways. They spent their time riding the four-wheeler, mushroom hunting, gardening, and canning their vegetables. The best thing was having each other to talk to, listen to, laugh with, and enjoying each other’s company.
Leah gave her life to the Lord and served him until he took her home.
Leah is survived by her beloved husband and best friend Bryan, two daughters, Rachelle Blackburn of Hamilton, Missouri, Lacy Denny of Kansas City, Missouri, three sons, Lane of the home, Drake of Kansas City, Missouri, and Dalton of Texas, one sister Denise Barnes of Omaha, Arkansas, one stepbrother, Curt Hocking of Kansas City, Missouri, nine grandchildren, Mariah, Hunter, Hudson, Braylon, Gavin, Camden, Dalton, Lane, and Dexter; a nephew, Heath Barnes, of Omaha, Arkansas: many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends whom will all miss her beautiful smile, her contagious laugh, and her sharp witty personality.
Leah was preceded in death by her parents Don and Sue Hocking, two daughters Tara Denny and Brooke Wall and one nephew Adam Barnes.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri with burial in the Clearfork Cemetery, Garden City, Missouri.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 21, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
