Leroy Riffle

Leroy Ernest Riffle of Latour, Missouri was born October 14, 1929 near Garden City, Missouri the son of Ernest Voliver and Alice Juanita (Edmonds) Riffle. He departed this life Sunday, January 28, 2007 at Research Medical Center, Kansas City, Missouri at the age of 77 years, 3 months and 14 days.
On, November 5, 1995 Leroy was united in marriage to Bonnie Christine (Akins) Snell in Latour, Missouri.
Leroy was a farmer and stockman. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. Leroy was a member of the Latour Presbyterian Church, the Hurley Lee Spicer Post #42 of the American Legion, Harrisonville, Missouri. He enjoyed his family, his garden and growing flowers, loved life and going on Cruises. Leroy was a lifelong area resident of Latour.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie C. Riffle of the home; two step-sons, Rick Snell and wife, Pam and Rodney Snell and wife, Jeannie all of Latour, Missouri; a step-daughter, Robin Lutz and husband, Travis, Kingsville, Missouri; three step-grandchildren; two sisters, Ruth Ann Corbin, Harrisonville, Missouri, Barbara Lovewell, Latour, Missouri; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 31, 2007 at Dickey Funeral Home, Garden City, Missouri with interment in the Garden City Cemetery, Garden City, Missouri.
Family suggests contributions may be made to the Latour Presbyterian Church memorial fund, Latour, Missouri and may be left at the funeral home.
