Lila Kircher

Lila Jyarldean ?Jerry? Kircher of Harrisonville, Missouri was born July 15, 1917 in Tiffany, Colorado the daughter of Charles Francis and Luretta Jewel (Sullins) Fortsch. She departed this life on Sunday, November 30, 2008 at Cass Regional Medical Center, Harrisonville at the age of 91 years, 4 months and 15 days.
On June 18, 1938, Jerry was united in marriage to Olaf Anderson and later married Glen Martin Kircher on July 21, 1968.
Jerry was employed as a blue print clerk for Bendix in Kansas City, Missouri until her retirement on January 1, 1975. She had earlier been employed as a waitress and as a bank teller. Jerry was a member of the First Christian Church, Harrisonville. She enjoyed her family, cooking, canning, the outdoors and spending her winters in Apache Junction in Arizona.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Olaf in 1961, her second husband, Glenn on July 21, 1998; a son, Charles Carlton Anderson; a brother, Mike Fortsch; two sisters, Maxine Brooks and Virginia Thompson.
She is survived by a grandson, Kevin Anderson and wife, Michelle, Harrisonville, Missouri; a granddaughter, Lori Fast and husband, Jeremy, Nevada. Missouri; four great-grandchildren, Delyn, Lacie, Logan and Stella; two step-sons, Jimmy Kircher and P. Dee Kircher both of Harrisonville, Missouri; a step-daughter, Velda Lee Kelley and families, Harrisonville, Missouri; a sister, Betty Enos and husband Jim, Adrian, Missouri; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday, December 5, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri with burial at Crescent Hill Cemetery near Adrian, Missouri.
Family will receive friends Thursday, December 4, 2008 from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
