Linda Kathleen Kruse of Harrisonville, Missouri was born December 23, 1936 in Kansas City, Missouri the daughter of Farrell Sheridan and Laura Elizabeth (Soots) Thompson. She departed this life at her daughter?s home in Harrisonville at the age of 73 years.
Linda was employed by Sutherland Lumber, Kansas City, Missouri for 34 years until her retirement in 2001. She was a member of the Red Hat Ladies Club, Harrisonville. Linda?s life and interest was being a devoted mother and grandparent.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Kathleen Louise (Kruse) Wooldridge on November 26, 2004 and her son-in-law, Joe Wooldridge.
She is survived by a son, David Kruse and wife Dawna, Hill City, South Dakota; two daughters, Christy Henderson and husband Shane and Tracy Goff and husband Larry all of Harrisonville, Missouri; a special granddaughter, Brittany Brooks; three step-grandchildren, Shane and Melissa Bridges and Joshua Moody-Henderson; two brothers, Michael Bruce Thompson, Minot, North Dakota, Phillip Stephen Thompson, Oakland, California; a sister, Patricia Louise Cote, Daleville, Alabama; other relatives and friends.
Cremation. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date at the Mound Grove Cemetery, Independence, MO.
The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Kansas City Hospice.
