Louise Pulliam

Alta Louise Pulliam of Garden City, Missouri was born November 3, 1922 in Urich Missouri the daughter of Johnnie Earl Beamon and Opal Marie (Page) Beamon. She departed this life on Saturday June 22 , 2013 at Crown Care Center in Harrisonville, Missouri surrounded by family and friends at the age of 90 years,7 months and 19 days.
On December 17, 1938 Alta Louise was united in Marriage to Burris Jenkins Pulliam in Stockton, California.
Louise was a homemaker and Care Giver for Family and Friends. She earlier had been employed by P N Hirsh and, Bargain Barn in Harrisonville, Hallmark Cards and the Lake City Army Ammunitions Plant in Independence. Louise was a member of the First Baptist Church of Garden City, Missouri. She enjoyed working outside in the yard, drinking coffee with friends, making desserts, cooking and taking care of her family. She has lived in Garden City for many years and before that lived Harrisonville and other homes in Cass County.
Alta Louise was preceeded in death by her Parents, and husband Burris Jenkins Pulliam on June 18, 1989, Daughters Loretta May Dawson on April 23, 1993 and Donita Fae Askew on July 26, 1982, Son Derald Wayne Pulliam on July 11, 1976, Grand daughters Misty Dawn Atwood and Amanda Marie Pulliam and Daughter in Law Connie Beatrice Pulliam.
She is survived by her Son Burris Keith Pulliam of Clinton Missouri and Johnnie Allen Pulliam of Higginsville, Missouri. 10 Grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great, Great Grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral service were held Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at Dickey Funeral Home, Garden City, Missouri with interment in the Garden City Cemetery, Garden City, Missouri.
