Lucille Maurie Shroder

Mrs. Lucille Maurie (Polzin) Shroder of Urich, Missouri was born October 4, 1921 near Chilhowee, Missouri the daughter of Alfred Albert Frederick and Mary Etta (Rector) Polzin. She departed this life on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at Golden Years Care Services in Harrisonville, Missouri at the age of 88 years 5 months and 21 days. She was united in marriage to Leonard Elmo Noland in 1939 and to this union, two children were born; Linda Jo and Susan Kay. She later married Haven Donald Shroder on September 18, 1950 in Bentonville, Arkansas. Lucille was a bank teller for the Bank of Urich until her retirement. She was a member of Christ Christian Church near Urich. Lucille had lived in Urich, Missouri before moving to Garden City and then to Harrisonville. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald on September 10, 2003 and her two brothers. Lucille is survived by two daughters, Linda Graham and husband, Larry, Urich, Missouri, Susan Helms and husband, Everett, Creighton, Missouri; five grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; her sister, Lola Beaty, Clinton, Missouri; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, March 20, 2010 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Garden City, Missouri. Burial will be at the Urich Cemetery near Urich, Missouri.
Family received friends Friday, March 19, 2010 at the funeral home.
