Maggie D. Crust

Mrs. Maggie Dee Crust of Archie, Mo. was born February 1, 1914 near Dayton, Mo. the daughter of Marion Thomas and Irma Genieve (Stephens) Sexson. She departed this life on Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at Cass Regional Medical Center, Harrisonville, Mo. at the age of 94 years, 8 months and 14 days.
On August 12, 1930, Maggie was united in marriage to L.A. Crust in Butler, Mo.
Maggie was a homemaker, a hard worker and the right hand for her husband on the family farm. She attended Ballard High School in Bates County, Mo. Maggie was secretary of the Dayton Cemetery Association for 34 years and served on the election board for many years.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, L.A. on November 12, 1999; 3 brothers, Irvin, Kenneth and Melvin Dale Sexson; a sister, Irene Westendorff.
She is survived by a son, Willard Crust and wife, Ellen, Archie, Mo.; 2 grandsons, Jerry Crust and wife, Lisa, Columbia, Mo. Jim Crust, Archie, Mo.; 2 great-grandchildren, Jessica and Jacob; 2 step-great grandchildren, David and Veronica; 1 gt-gt-grandson, Aydan; other relatives and many friends
Funeral services were held Saturday, October 18, 2008 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Garden City, Missouri with burial at the Dayton Cemetery near Garden City, Missouri.
