Marian Earline Todd of Pleasant Hill, Missouri was born July 9, 1933 the daughter of Clarence and Margueritte (Leusley) Baldwin. She departed this life on Monday, August 12, 2013 at her home at the age of 80 years, 1 month and 3 days.
On July 4, 1952 Marian was united in marriage to Carl David Todd in Bentonville, Arkansas.
Marian was employed as a supervisor for 20 years at Hallmark Cards, Kansas City, Missouri until her retirement in 1992. She was a member of East Gate Christian Church, Independence, Missouri. Marian enjoyed traveling, camping, roses, geraniums and watching the birds around her home. She had lived in Independence before moving to Pleasant Hill in 1992.
Besides her parents, Marian was preceded in death by a grandson, Matthew Carty, a half brother, Labon Baldwin and a half-sister, Debbie Richardson.
Marian is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Carl Todd of the home; a son, David Todd and wife, Joyce, Independence, Missouri; a daughter, Katherine Soza, Topeka, Kansas; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a half-brother, Leroy Shoemaker, Kansas City, Missouri; other relatives and a host of friends.
