Marion Frank Boyles of Garden City, Missouri was born November 6, 1928 in Bates County, Missouri the son of Marion David and Eliza Ellen (Cox) Boyles. He departed this life on Thursday, August 21, 2008 at Research Medical Center, Kansas City, Missouri at the age of 79 years, 9 months and 15 days.
On December 29, 1957, Frank was united in marriage to Ellen Arlene Carnagie in Joplin, Missouri.
Frank was employed as a truck driver for Randy Mickelberry Trucking in Harrisonville, Missouri until his retirement in 1999. He enjoyed his friends at Old Cedar Inn and was friendly and outgoing. Frank had lived in Lamar and Harrisonville before moving to Garden City in 1984.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Ellen on June 4, 2003; two brothers, Joe and George and a sister, Goldie.
He is survived by two sisters, Frances Jones, Garnett, Kansas, Chesley Miller, Blue Springs, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Monday, August 25, 2008 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Garden City, Missouri.
